Become a developer with numerous career paths

This comprehensive Data Science Bootcamp teaches you Python, the essentials of probability and statistics for data analysis and visualisation, data science libraries such as NumPy, pandas, scikit-learn, and the fundamental concepts of machine learning. After this online Data Science Bootcamp, you’ll graduate with the practical and in-demand skills you need in order to be career-ready.

What you’ll learn

Level 1 | Python for Data Science

01 | Introduction to Python

Get acquainted with the basics of Python, a powerful and popular programming language used extensively by data scientists.

02 | Functions

Learn how to define and call functions that accept parameters and return values. As a data scientist, you’ll often define functions to solve problems that data poses to you.

03 | Object Oriented Programming

Gain an understanding of abstraction, encapsulation, inheritance, and polymorphism to give a good design to your Python code.

04 | Natural Language Processing (NLP)

Learn how to deal with text and speech. Transform text into tabular data and build models to extract topics and detect spam. Use libraries like SpaCy that solve NLP problems.

05 | Capstone projects (3)

Use your knowledge of programming in Python to create a useful program. Challenge yourself by undertaking a project on introductory Natural Language Processing (NLP) and Sentiment Analysis.

In addition to creating new database systems, data architects find ways to improve the performance and functionality of existing systems.

I don’t have any background in coding, IT, or computer science. Can I still apply for the Data Science Bootcamp programme?

I don’t have regular access to the Internet. Would that be a problem as all of your bootcamps are online?

Our students don't need access to the internet every day. Our bootcamp delivery is designed so that you can download the material and work on your tasks offline. Once you are connected to the Internet, all the work in your folder automatically gets synchronised with your mentor, who will be notified immediately and will provide feedback right away.

Will I receive a certificate after I complete the bootcamp?

Yes, you will be issued a certificate of completion from HyperionDev in partnership with Imperial College London once you complete your bootcamp. The certificate also lists all our content partners and supporting organisations, including Google and Facebook.

How much time do I need to commit to complete one of your bootcamps?

We recommend devoting an average of 8 hours per week to complete a bootcamp within 3 to 6 months. However, our bootcamps are designed to be flexible to your learning needs and goals. If you find yourself running out of time, you can extend your bootcamp time by purchasing additional months of mentor support and access to the training material. This means you can take as long as you need to complete the bootcamp and gain the certificate, as well as the confidence to become a developer.
